The St. Methodius Peak ( Bulgarian Връх Свети Методий Wrach Sweti Metodij ) is a 1180 m high mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Friesland Ridge of the Tangra Mountains, it rises 5.87 km south-southwest of Mount Friesland , 2 km southwest of St. Cyril Peak , 5 km west-northwest of Samuel Point and 6.6 km northeast of Barnard Point .
Bulgarian scientists carried out surveys from 1995 to 1996. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2002 after the Salonika Method (≈815–885).
