Chepesch-en-pet-mehtit is the name of an ancient Egyptian sky deity of the constellation Great Bear . The name Chepesch-en-pet-mehtit replaced the older divine name Mesechtiu-em-pet-mehtit in the New Kingdom in connection with the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead .
In the New Kingdom, Chepesch-en-pet-mehtit with the solar disk Aton acted as the preparer of the throne for the deceased.
