Chesterton is a city in the Westchester, Jackson and Liberty townships in Porter County , Indiana , United States . Together with Burns Harbor and Porter, Chesterton forms the Tri-Towns in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore (also Duneland) on Lake Michigan .
