China Squash Open 2012

The China Squash Open 2012 took place from October 25th to 28th, 2012 in Shanghai , People's Republic of China . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2012/13 and belonged to the Gold 50 category .

The defending champion was Low Wee Wern , who also won the tournament this year. She defeated Joelle King in the final 6:11, 11: 4, 3:11, 11: 3 and 11: 9. This was her second title win at this tournament.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Li Dongjin a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 55,000.
