Chinese sea
The Chinese Sea was a term used primarily during the Wilhelminism era . The sea lies between Borneo , India , the Japanese Kyushu Islands, the Malay Peninsula , North Korea , the Philippine islands of Luzon and Palawan , South Korea and the east and south coast of the People's Republic of China .
The China Sea combines the following marginal seas of the Pacific Ocean , which are now regarded as independent :
- the Yellow Sea (with its northern foothills Gulf of Bohai and Korea Bay ),
- the East China Sea and
- the South China Sea .
