distribution
The species occurs in the Nearctic . The distribution area extends from the west coast to Montana and Texas.
Way of life
Chlorochroa sayi is a polyphagous species of bug. It is considered a minor pest in the United States . The bugs are often found on herbaceous plants such as Salsola iberica , Hungarian rocket ( Sisymbrium altissimum ), bulls ( Atriplex ), sea pigeons ( Ephedra ), Grayia spinosa and Artemisia species. But they can also occasionally cause damage to crops such as wheat, maize or alfalfa.
