Cho Wŏnhŭi

Cho Won-hee (born April 17, 1983 in Seoul ) is a South Korean football player .

Cho made his debut in the South Korean K-League with the Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i in 2002 and played twice for the winner of the Asian Champions Cup and national cup winner . He then played for the military club Gwangju Sangmu Phoenix for two years before joining the Suwon Samsung Bluewings . There the right defender established himself in the team and became champion in 2005 and runner-up the following year.

Cho Won-hee was also able to play for the national team in 2005. He had previously played for the juniors at the 2003 World Cup. In the run-up to the 2006 World Cup in Germany, he also made his first appearance for the senior national team in October 2005 and was able to celebrate a debut with a goal after 59 seconds, the fastest goal in South Korean international history. He was then used regularly. At the World Cup he was in South Korea's squad , but didn't get a chance.
