Protestant church

In the Protestant Church , the parish songs in the service are called chorales . A chorale book is the organ book for the Evangelical Hymn book (EG) , which, depending on the edition, contains a figured bass and the melody or a three-part and four-part set with intonation . For the trombone choirs there is a suitable trombone chorale book for each regional edition of the Evangelical Hymn book, which contains intonations and accompanying clauses for wind choirs to the songs of the EG.
