This is a list of Gregorian manuscripts . The focus is on manuscripts that are important for the history and restitution of Gregorian chant , for example the so-called St. Galler Cantatorium , i. H. the cantatorium from Codex 359 of the St. Gallen Abbey Library , the oldest, completely preserved manuscript of Gregorian proprium chants with neumes from the years 922–925.

They are given with the usual abbreviations or abbreviations, followed by the signature and their storage location with the library signature. Reference is also made to important publications - in particular from the two edition series Paléographie musicale (PM) from Solesmes and Monumenta Palaeographica Gregoriana (MPG) from Münsterschwarzach - as well as further web links (literature, digital copies, short descriptions, etc.).
