Chris Briggs

Chris Briggs is a film producer and occasional screenwriter and actor .

Life

Briggs began his career with the television film The Test Tube Killer , in which he was involved in 1994 as a production assistant. He then worked in 1997 on the TV series Breaker High and wrote scripts for it. From 1999 to 2001 he worked as a screenwriter on the Teenage Werewolf series. In the 2000s he increasingly turned to film and television production.

In 2004 he made his cinema debut with the film Godsend, which was criticized as insufficient . Here he appeared as an associate producer. With this work there was a collaboration with Greg Kinnear and Robert De Niro .

In 2005 he produced Eli Roth's surprise hit Hostel and his sequels Hostel 2 and Hostel 3 . In 2006 he worked on Poseidon with the German director Wolfgang Petersen .

Briggs often works with Eli Roth and Mike Fleiss .
