Chris Carter (athlete, 1942)
Christopher "Chris" Sydney Carter (born December 25, 1942 in Steyning ) is a former British middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he reached the semi-finals.
In 1966 he was starting for England at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston fifth over 880 yards . At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest he came fourth with his personal best of 1: 46.3 minutes.
At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, he was eliminated in the preliminary run.
