Christopher Lawrence Lindberg (also Christopher Lloyd Lindberg ; born April 16, 1967 in Fort Frances , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played for the Calgary Flames and Québec Nordiques in the National Hockey League and the Krefeld EV in German ice hockey League played.

Career

Lindberg began his career in 1987/88 on the team at the University of Minnesota Duluth in the National Collegiate Athletic Association . As early as the 1989/90 season he had his first assignments with the Binghamton Whalers in the American Hockey League . 1991 made the leap into the National Hockey League and played 17 games for the Calgary Flames . In the same year he was appointed to the Canadian national ice hockey team, with which he won a silver medal at the 1992 Winter Olympics .

In 1994 he moved to Krefeld EV in the German Ice Hockey League . In 1996/97 he was the top scorer in the DEL. In 1998 he left Krefeld and went on a brief stopover in the United States in the Switzerland . In 1999/2000 he again made nine appearances in the national team's jersey. He spent his last season 2003/04 in Austria with the EC VSV .
