Chris Montana

Chris Montana (* 28. April 1974 when Christian Iberle in Ulm , Baden-Wuerttemberg , Germany ) is a German House - DJ and producer and active since the early 90s in numerous clubs.

Career

The trained high school teacher (sports, geography) and journalist began teaching himself to DJ and mix at the age of 15 in his parents' hobby room. He got his first permanent residency at "Myer's" in Ulm. Montana earned a great reputation in the Ulm region through his musical instinct and skills. After completing his teaching degree, he decided to deepen his career as a DJ.

In 2001 and 2002 he played one season for El Divino, a well-known club on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza. There he performed with international DJs such as Roger Sanchez , Erick Morillo or Todd Terry and DJ Skinhead. During the same period he also recorded CDs in a music studio.

In 2006 he released his first commercial single, “Porto Hustle”, which was included directly on radio playlists in more than 20 countries. In 2007 "Sex Girl" followed, a co-production with the US house DJ George Morel, which caused a great stir internationally. Chris Montana achieved his greatest commercial success with the single "Speed ​​of life", which was released on February 23, 2009 on the American cult label Strictly Rhythm.

In the meantime he is concentrating more and more on his own label "S2G", on which he also brings out his latest releases. He has also set up his own booking agency called "Haiti Groove". In June 2010 his production "Pura Vida" was finally released, which was also presented in Ibiza.

Today Montana looks back on around 50 publications, including its own songs and remixes.
