Chriss Tuxi (born June 11, 1973 in Styria , Austria ; † July 18, 2010 in Hamburg ; real name Christian Cabala ) was an Austrian disc jockey and party and hit singer .

Career

His career began as a DJ in his Austrian homeland, the Zillertal. He was the main disc jockey at Hohenhaus Tenne and a popular party DJ on the slopes of Hintertux (Tyrol).

From the mid-2000s, Chriss Tuxi celebrated success as a party DJ and pop singer in the Bierkönig in Platja de Palma (Mallorca). At first he changed his center of life between Mallorca and Tyrol for half a year, until he finally emigrated to Palma de Mallorca in mid-2008.

Together with Peter Wackel , he landed several chart successes, including a cover version of the hit Joana by Roland Kaiser , which stayed in the German charts for nine months. Further recordings of him, mostly adaptations of party hits from the 1970s and 1980s, can be found on compilations such as the Ballermann hits .

On the night of July 18, 2010, he was killed as a passenger in a traffic accident on Hamburg's Reeperbahn . Christian Cabala was married with a daughter from a previous relationship.
