Peter Wackel (born January 4, 1977 in Erlangen ; actually Steffen Peter Haas ) is a German party singer and solo entertainer with regular appearances in pubs and discos on Mallorca . Since 1999 he has been represented in the national charts with his songs. For his musical repertoire he uses well-known hits in the German language and records them with new lyrics.
Career
Peter Wackel, who grew up in Bubenreuth in Franconia , came into contact with music during his school days. He sang in the school choir and took guitar, organ and violin lessons. First he appeared in his Franconian homeland as a singer, solo entertainer and presenter, where he made a name for himself with his regional hit "Vier" until he became known nationwide in 1999 with the song Party, Palmen, Weiber and 'n Bier . At this time he also appeared under the suffix "Partynator". He no longer uses this term.
Wackel gained notoriety from 1996, especially among German holidaymakers on the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca with his Ballermann hits . He now appears there three times a week in the Oberbayern discotheque and the Bierkönig on Playa de Palma .
In the following years, further recordings were made with well-known producers such as Luis Rodriguez and the team behind the Hermes House Band . In 2005 he got a record deal with the EMI label . As a result, he was able to place almost all singles in the German sales charts. His hit Joana (Du geile Sau) is the party version of the song of the same name by Roland Kaiser .
His song Ladioo became the unofficial anthem of the 2007 Handball World Cup in Germany .
In 2008 Peter Wackel published another song by Roland Kaiser as a party song with the title Sometimes I would like to join you. The Bierkönig DJ Chriss Tuxi, who was fatally injured in an accident in 2010, also took part in this song . The song is also the first single from the new album "Wackel total". In 2009 the title Didn't know your name ... Drunk . Chriss Tuxi also took part in this production.
In 2011 Peter Wackel's summer title was Woochenende and in 2012 Alt wie ein Baum , a party version of the Puhdys play of the same name, was released . In September 2012 Peter Wackel opened a museum with a fan shop as “Peter Wackel's Party World” in Baiersdorf . In January 2013 the new maxi-CD Erika (come to America with me) came on the market, in May 2013 the download of Scheiss drauf! (Mallorca is only once a year) and on June 21, 2013 the song was also released as a maxi CD.
Since December 13, 2013 the song is also available as a winter version Schiss drauf! (Après-Ski is once a year) and since January 2014 also as (Carnival is once a year). “Scheiss Drauf” reached number 39 in the German charts and thus became Wackel's most successful title. On March 21, 2014 DA Music released a double CD with the title “Ganz Schön Wackelig”.
From April to October, Wackel is a guest several times a week in Upper Bavaria and in the Bierkönig on Mallorca. On the weekends he can be seen at many events all over Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
Steffen Peter Haas is also active as an entrepreneur. He runs a party travel agency, rents event fincas and runs his own farm with olive and fruit trees. The citrus fruits are delivered to TV chef Alexander Herrmann (cook) in Bayreuth and the olives are processed into several hundred liters of olive oil.
In June 2020 he recorded the song If there is nothing to celebrate together with party hit newcomer Hannes .
