Christa Giessler

Christa Gießler (born January 13, 1954 in Ziegelroda ; actually Christa Fischer ) is a German-speaking writer .

Life

Gießler was born in 1954 near Querfurt in Saxony-Anhalt, studied economics in Halle after graduating from high school and then worked at the building academy of the GDR and in Leipzig city ​​research . In 1988 she did her doctorate as an economist at the Bauakademie Berlin on the subject of "The development of housing needs and their significance for the needs and effectiveness planning in housing and community building".

Today she lives in Stuttgart . She works as a freelance lecturer and moderator . In 2004 she co-founded the FischerLautner publishing house in Ditzingen , and since 2011 she has also been a partner and copywriter at Dimedia-Verlag, which publishes the Ditzinger Journal (Dijou) six times a year. Since studying literature at the Johannes R. Becher Institute in Leipzig , she has published novels , short stories , biographies and a specialist book.
