Christa Elisa Bertha Wiese (born December 25, 1967 in Templin ) is a German athlete who - starting for the GDR - was a successful shot putter in the 1980s . At the indoor world championships in 1989 she won the bronze medal (18.02 - 17.99 - 17.55 - 18.32 - 19.75 m - 19.48) behind Claudia Losch and Huang Zhihong .

She hit her best of 20.50 m at the GDR indoor championships on February 12, 1989 in Senftenberg , when she lost to Heike Hartwig one centimeter behind. This was also Wiese's best championship placement. She set her best outdoor performance with 20.00 m on May 31, 1989 in Schwerin .
