Christa von Bernuth (born March 5, 1961 in Munich ) is a German writer and journalist .

biography

After graduating from high school in Schondorf am Ammersee , she studied German and French in Munich and, after completing her training at the German School of Journalism, worked as an author for various women's magazines. Von Bernuth lives with her husband in Munich .

Artistic creation

In 1999 von Bernuth made his debut with the detective novel "The woman who lost her conscience".

In the following years she wrote three detective novels about Commissioner Mona Seiler (2001, 2003, 2004), which were filmed with Mariele Millowitsch in the lead role on RTL Television .

In the 2006 novel "Innere Security", Christa von Bernuth drew a portrait of the people and the moods in the GDR in the eighties. In addition, describes the novel compounds of the GDR regime to the terrorists of the RAF . According to her own statement, the events during a trip to the GDR in 1982, during which her companion was arrested on departure and subsequently convicted of alleged espionage , served as the impetus and template for the story .

In 2010, the relationship drama "Who was guilty" was published by Bernuth's first novel that is not part of the crime scene.
