Christel Kegler (born November 27, 1947 in Heidenheim an der Brenz as Christel Behr ) is a former German national hockey player who worked as an administrative clerk during her national team career.

Career

youth

As a 14-year-old, Christel Behr was already entitled to play for the Heidenheimer SB with a special permit and joins a prominent row like the footballers Uwe Seeler , Horst Eckel and Fritz Walter .

Active

In 1976 she was with the team of the German national hockey team for the first time hockey world champion ( FIH ). In addition, Behr won the European indoor hockey championship with the German team in 1975 and 1977 .

After the boycott of the Moscow Olympics , captain Christel Behr and her representative Margit Müller decided not to stand in the way of a new start with young players after 15 years of uninterrupted membership in the national team . The DHB arranged for a "performance-related reimbursement" of 10,000 marks at the German Sports Aid Foundation for the lost participation in the Olympics.
