Christian Magpie
Christen Elster (born April 2, 1763 in Strømsø (today Drammen ), † March 11, 1833 in Verdal ) was a Norwegian politician and civil servant. Elster was district president in the provinces of Nordland and Nord-Trøndelag .
Life
Elster's parents were the merchant Lorentz Elster and his wife Sophie Thoresen . He was from 1789 to 1791 Vogt of Stjørdal and Verdal and from 1795 to 1811 Vogt in Orkdal and Gauldal . Then he was bailiff (district president), first in Nordland and from 1815 in Nord-Trøndelag.
He was married to Christine Fredrikke Collin . His son was the lawyer and civil servant Christen Christensen Elster , his grandson the writer Kristian Mandrup Elster .
Elster was a knight of the North Star Order and the Dannebrog Order .
