Christfried Albert Thilo

Christfried Albert Thilo (born February 26, 1813 in Wollershausen ; † March 10, 1894 ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent in Hildesheim .

Life

Christfried Albert Thilo, a son of Pastor Ludwig Friedrich Daniel Thilo, attended high school in Holzminden and studied theology at the University of Göttingen . He became hospes in the Loccum monastery and field preacher with the Hanoverian troops in Schleswig-Holstein before he was appointed pastor in Langenholzen in 1849 . In 1853 he became superintendent in Groß Solschen , in 1856 superintendent in Markoldendorf , in 1870 city superintendent, pastor at St. Andreas as well as general superintendent and member of the consistory in Hanover. From 1872 to 1890 he was a full clerical member of the state consistory in Hanover as senior consistory counselor.
