Christian Böhmer (* 1984 in Bad Kreuznach ) is a German graffiti , street art and urban art artist.

life and work

Christian Böhmer, who also worked under the pseudonym “Mr Trash”, was an autodidact who brought graffiti to walls from 1990 onwards, in order to later develop an art form based on classic portrait painting .

His "paper bag heads", as glued paste-ups or painted and sprayed, also attracted attention because they critically drew attention to contemporary social problems. The desire for anonymity plays a major role in his works, documented by the covered heads. Two pictures with this topic were printed in the specialist book “Streetart Cologne” published in 2014 under his pseudonym “Mr Trash”.

Böhmer has been invited to festivals for years, for example the City Leaks Urban Art Festival Cologne 2011.

He lives and works as a freelance artist in Cologne .
