Christian Cebulj

Christian Cebulj (* 1964 in Kaufbeuren im Allgäu ) is a Catholic theologian and religious educator .

Life

Christian Cebulj studied Catholic theology in Augsburg , Paris and Munich from 1984 to 1990 . From 1991 to 1994 he completed his apprenticeship as a pastoral assistant in Munich. Since 1994 he has been a study tour guide to countries in the Middle East (Israel, Egypt, Turkey). From 1994 to 1998 he was a research assistant at the chair for biblical theology at the TU Dresden . From 1998 to 1999 he was a research assistant in the DFG research project School Education in the 1st Century AD. A comparative study of Greco-Roman schools of philosophy and the ´schools´ of the New Testament tradition . After my doctorate in 1999, it's me. From 2000 to 2001 he was a research assistant at the chair for New Testament exegesis at the University of Augsburg, studying identity formation in the Gospel of John . From 2000 to 2006 he taught as a lecturer for Bible didactics at the University of Eichstätt , Faculty of Religious Education (FH), Department of Munich. From 2001 to 2008 he was a research assistant at the chair for religious education and didactics of religious education at the University of Koblenz-Landau (Landau campus). He completed his habilitation on the topic of identity-building Bible didactics. A study of the identity formation of young adults in the mirror of biblical texts .

On March 27, 2008 he was appointed full professor for religious education and catechetics at the Chur Theological University . In 2015 he was elected Rector of the Theological University in Chur to succeed Eva-Maria Faber for the period from 2015 to 2019.
