Christian Decker (born April 14, 1972 ) is a German musician, music producer and musical director at the theater. From 1996 until the breakup in 2008 he was the bass player of the German rock band Fury in the Slaughterhouse .

Life

Decker studied music in Hanover and Hamburg from 1992 to 1996. In addition to his studies, he played in various bands in the respective study cities.

At the end of his studies he followed Hannes Schäfer in 1996 as bassist with the German rock group Fury in the Slaughterhouse, where he played until the band split up in August 2008. He also worked as a bass player in studio recordings with Timo Maas , Patrick Nuo and the Alphaville group and accompanied his brother Dominik Decker's band Marquess during live performances. He also played alternately with Christian Flohr bass in the acoustic soul group tok tok tok .

Decker runs his own recording studio “Time Tools” in Hanover.

In 2008, Decker played the bass on Fabian Schulz's solo album . In 2009 he toured with the 1st Songwriter Community, a band around the solo artists Astrid North, Ben Hamilton, Dirk Darmstaedter , Moritz Krämer and Fabian Schulz. He also worked with Fabian Schulz as a producer for the rock'n'roll band Boppin'B .

In the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons he was engaged as musical director at Schauspiel Hannover .
