Christian Dorda (born October 30, 1947 in Vienna ) is a lawyer , honorary consul of the Principality of Monaco and international arbitrator .

Dorda received his doctorate in law from the University of Vienna in 1971 and was admitted to the Austrian bar in 1976. Since 1988 he has been a managing partner of the law firm Dorda Brugger Jordis, which was founded with Theresa Jordis and Walter Brugger . At the beginning of 2017, the firm's name was rebranded from the original Dorda Brugger Jordis to DORDA. Until 1998 he was a lecturer at the Hernstein International Management Institute . Together with the General Director of Donau Chemie , Alain de Krassny , he founded the Franco-Austrian Chamber of Commerce and is now its syndic . He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Chamber of Commerce in Austria, sits on the editorial board of the specialist magazine The European Lawyer and is co-founder and currently President of the Association for the Promotion of the Austrian Gallery Belvedere . He was until 2007 chairman of M & A Commission of the Union Internationale des Avocats , until 2008 chairman at PwC auditing AG and Deputy Chairman of Magna International Europe AG until 2009. In addition, is Dorda member emeritus of the International Court of Arbitration (International Court of Arbitration) of the International Chamber of Commerce - ICC . Since 2009 he has been Vice President of ICC Austria.
