Christian Friedrich Boetius

Christian Friedrich Boetius (also Boëtius or Böthius) (born April 1, 1706 in Leipzig , † December 13, 1782 in Dresden ) was a German painter , draftsman and engraver .

Life

Boetius was a student of Paul Christian Zink and CA Wartmann. He was appointed court painter in Dresden and in 1764 professor at the Dresden Art Academy .
