Christian Friedrich Glumann

Christian Friedrich Glumann (born July 6, 1788 in Annaberg ; † March 15, 1868 in Scheibe near Wolkenstein ) was a German businessman and politician.

Glumann was first elected councilor of his Ore Mountains hometown Annaberg in 1823 . In 1830 he is mentioned as a city judge. With the introduction of the Saxon City Code in 1832 , he was elected to the city council, from 1836 to 1843 he was mayor. In 1849/50 Glumann represented the 54th, 55th and 56th electoral districts in the first chamber of the Saxon state parliament , and from 1851 to 1854 he was deputy member of the manor owners in the second chamber of the state parliament. He died in 1868 on his estate in Scheibe near Wolkenstein.
