Christian Friedrich Sattler
Christian Friedrich Sattler (born November 17, 1705 in Stuttgart ; † May 18, 1785 ibid) was a German archivist and historian.
After studying law, he was appointed court court advocate. In 1735 he joined the archives service and was promoted to the real secret archivist in 1741, since 1776 with the title of councilor. As a historian , Sattler worked on the history of Württemberg , initially as a continuation of the history of Oswald Gabelkover . Later he worked on the entire history of the country independently.
