Christian Friedrich von Abendroth

Christian Friedrich Abendroth , von Abendroth since 1793 ; (* February 8, 1744 in Chemnitz ; † August 8, 1811 in Kösser ) was a German entrepreneur and manor owner who was raised to the imperial nobility .

Life

Abendroth worked as a merchant and trader in his native Chemnitz. From here, on November 4, 1772, he acquired the old manor Kösser , located north of the city of Colditz in the office of the same name, from the von Erdmannsdorff family . In addition to the village of Kösser, parts of the village of Förstgen and the Pielitzberg suburbs also belonged to the jurisdiction of the courts.

In 1788 he also bought the new building in the Frankenberg office.

On December 17, 1793 he was raised to the imperial nobility as von Abendroth at the imperial court and he and his legitimate descendants were given a coat of arms. In the Electorate of Saxony , the elevation to the nobility on December 31, 1796/7. January 1797 recognized by rescript.

On April 15, 1775 Christian Friedrich Abendroth married in Greiz Caroline Sophie Göttling (1757-1805), sister of the purchase and the merchant prince Heinrich Ferdinand Göttling (1765-1850), landowner to Irchwitz and the richest man of the Principality of Reuss older line . From this marriage there were two children:

  1. Caroline Wilhelmine Sophie (1756–1858), wife of Rudolph von Sandersleben since 1803
  2. Christian Friedrich (1779–1842), royal Saxon captain and heir to his father's manor.

Heinrich and Hermann von Abendroth are his grandchildren.
