Christian Frosch (artist)

Christian Frosch (* 1968 in Graefelfing ) is a German artist.

Life

From 1991 to 1998 Frosch studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . In 1997 he founded the Anatomical-Pathological Painting Collection (APSM). From 2006 to 2012 he was an artistic assistant for Res Ingold at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. 2008 to 2012 teaching position at the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences , basics of design (Faculty of Landscape Architecture). Since 2015 he has held a professorship for fine arts, painting, drawing, space and interdisciplinary strategies at the Caspar David Friedrich Institute of the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald . He is the managing director of this institute.

Frosch lives and works in Greifswald.
