Christian Gottlieb Lieberkühn

Christian Gottlieb Lieberkühn (* around 1730 in Potsdam ; † 1761 there ) was a German writer and translator.

Lieberkühn began to study theology at the University of Halle in 1752 ; He was able to publish his dissertation the following year under Siegmund Jakob Baumgarten .

At the beginning of the Silesian War , the King of Prussia, Frederick II , had him recruited for his army. During the Seven Years' War Lieberkühn served as a field preacher in the Prussian army .

In addition to his official duties, Lieberkühn began to publish his works and over time also made a name for himself as a translator.
