Christian Gottlieb Schmid

Christian Gottlieb Schmid (born May 3, 1792 in Bickelsberg , Duchy of Württemberg ; † August 7, 1846 in Künzelsau , Kingdom of Württemberg ) was a German teacher and member of the Württemberg state parliament as a representative of the Upper Office of Tuttlingen ( Black Forest district ).

Life

Christian Gottlieb Schmid was a son of the pastor Immanuel Friedrich Schmid in Bickelsberg. He worked as a high school professor at a high school in Stuttgart. In 1833 he was elected for the first time in the Württemberg state parliament for the constituency of Heilbronn (office) . He held this office until 1838. In 1844 he became a member of the state parliament for the upper office of Tuttlingen for the second time, succeeding Jakob Schnekenburger . He held this office until his death in 1846. He was succeeded by Robert von Mohl .
