Christian Graf von Bassewitz

Christian Graf von Bassewitz (born October 8, 1940 in Rostock ) is a former German banker .

In the 1960s he completed an apprenticeship as a banker at Deutsche Bank . He then studied business administration in Hamburg . After graduating, he worked for Bankhaus Lampe and Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft , where he became their spokesman. In May 1992 he moved to Bankhaus Lampe as spokesman and became a personally liable partner there in 1993. Until he retired in 2005, Bassewitz was the spokesman for the personally liable partners of Bankhaus Lampe KG. Bassewitz is also a member of the supervisory board of Aareal Bank AG , Bank für Sozialwirtschaft AG and OVB Holding AG

He is a member of the board of trustees of the children's aid organization Plan International Germany .

Bassewitz is honorary consul in Düsseldorf for North Rhine-Westphalia for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Bassewitz lives in Düsseldorf, is married and has two children.
