Christian Grainer

Christian Friedrich Grainer (born January 30, 1964 in Kirchdorf ) is a German chef .

Career

After training at the family-owned Grainer inn in Kirchdorf, Grainer joined Karl Eschlböck am Mondsee in 1982. In 1985 he moved to Restaurant Bareiss in Baiersbronn and in 1988 to Restaurant Bruderholz with Hans Stucki in Basel .

Since 1990 he has been running Christian's restaurant in Kirchdorf near Haag in Upper Bavaria . In 1999 Christian's restaurant was awarded one star in the Michelin Guide .

Grainer is a member of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe .

Private

Grainer has been married since 2014 and has one son.
