Christian Haas (Designer)

Christian Haas (* 1974 in Erlangen , Germany ) is a German industrial designer.

life and work

Christian Haa's creative activity is diverse and includes lights, furniture, porcelain and glass as well as editions for international galleries.

Haas studied product design at Munich University of Applied Sciences and already specialized in aesthetic design during his studies. From 2002 to 2004 he was with the crystal glass manufacturer Nachtmann in Franken as a creative director .

In 2000 Haas opened his own design studio in Munich and in 2007 in Paris . His clients include Villeroy & Boch , Rosenthal , Nachtmann , Bauscher , Theresienthal and Autostadt Volkswagen.

At the end of 2014, Haas moved from Paris to Porto, where, in addition to his creative work, he opened a restaurant (Mondo Deli), which however closed in December 2018.
