Christian Heinrich Fürchtegott Mörlin
Christian Heinrich Fürchtegott Mörlin (* 1787 in Camburg , † 1852 in Monstab ) was a German pastor and poet.
Life
Christian Heinrich Fürchtegott Mörlin studied Protestant theology at the University of Jena. In 1805 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Jena . After completing his studies, he embarked on a pastoral career. He became archdeacon of Altenburg and later pastor in Monstab. He composed some hymns that were included in songs for the Reformation Festival (published in Altenburg in 1817, edited by Sachse) and the hymn book for the Principality of Reuss Younger Line from 1865.
