Christian Heinze (* 1976 in Wiesbaden ) is a German lawyer .

Life

From 1996 to 2001 he studied law in Münster and Lausanne , study support from the German National Academic Foundation . In 2001 he passed the first state examination in law. From 2001 to 2002 he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Cambridge , graduate support from the DAAD . From 2002 to 2005 he completed his legal clerkship in Hamburg with station a. a. at the 3rd civil senate of the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg (competition, trademark and patent law). In 2005 he passed the second state examination in law. From 2002 to 2007 he was an assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law . After completing his doctorate in 2007 at the University of Hamburg with a thesis on the subject of interim legal protection in European intellectual property law , he was visiting researcher of the Graduate Program at Harvard Law School (Peter Murray) from 2007 to 2008 , researching US and international intellectual property law Procedural law and law enforcement in federal legal systems. From 2008 to 2013 he was a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law. From 2013 to 2014 he was a notary assessor in Hamburg. After completing his habilitation in 2014 at the University of Hamburg for the subjects of civil law, civil procedural law, international private and procedural law, commercial and business law, intellectual property law, European private law and comparative law, in 2014 he became professor of civil law and intellectual property law, in particular patent and trademark law at the legal department Faculty of the University of Hanover .
