Christian Johner

Christian Johner (born January 13, 1967 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German professor and expert for information technology in health care .

Life

Johner studied physics at the University of Konstanz from 1986 to 1992 and received his doctorate there in 1995 with summa cum laude . From 1990 to 1995 he worked as a medical physicist at the Radiological Institute in Konstanz . From 1995 to 2006 he worked for Fresenius Medical Care as a research assistant and later as head of development for clinical systems. In 2000 he became co-founder and chairman of the supervisory board of Calcucare AG, which was taken over by Fresenius Medical Care in 2003. In 2005 he founded the Institute for Information Technologies in Health Care in Freiburg im Breisgau. Since 2006 he has been Professor at the Faculty of Economics computer science of the University of Konstanz for Technology, Business and Design ( HTWG ) in Konstanz and teaches software architecture , software engineering , software - quality assurance and medical computer science . Since 2006 he has been advising companies on the development and quality assurance of medical software and is a lecturer at the Danube University Krems , the University of St. Gallen and the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg .
