Christian Köppel (born November 3, 1994 in Munich ) is a German soccer player . He has been playing for FC Augsburg II since summer 2020 . For TSV 1860 Munich he played four games in the third division.

Career

He started playing soccer at TSV 1860 Munich . After he had run through all youth teams and made his first appearances for the second team, from the beginning of the 2017/18 season he was part of the squad of the first team of the Löwen, which now competed in the regional league after the double relegation. On the first day of the match he scored the first goal of the season in Memmingen . The Lions finished the season as champions and prevailed in the promotion games against 1. FC Saarbrücken , which meant their first promotion to the third division .

After promotion, he made his professional football debut on October 7, 2018, when he came on as a substitute for the injured Jan Mauersberger in the second minute of the 0-1 away defeat against SV Meppen on Matchday 11 .
