Jan Mauersberger (born June 17, 1985 in Munich ) is a former German soccer player . He was most recently under contract with TSV 1860 Munich .

Career

Jan Mauersberger first played in the soccer department of TSV Großhadern before he switched to the E-Jugend of FC Bayern Munich in 1994 and subsequently went through all youth teams. With Bayern , he became German A-Junior Champion in 2004. From 2004 to 2006 he played a total of 57 games in the Regionalliga Süd for the amateur team . He made his debut on October 11, 2002 (11th matchday) in a 2-2 draw in the away game against SV Elversberg , when he came on for Serkan Atak in the second half . Shortly after his first appointment to the Bundesliga squad of FC Bayern Munich, he suffered a serious knee injury in autumn 2005 and was then absent for six months. During his club membership he still played six friendlies in which he scored a goal.

From the 2006/07 season Mauersberger played for the second division SpVgg Greuther Fürth , where he made his debut on September 17, 2006 (4th matchday) in the 3-0 away win over FC Erzgebirge Aue , but on his first goal more than Had to wait three years.
