Christian Kühn (mining engineer)

Christian Kühn (born November 4, 1871 in Dresden , † January 23, 1950 in Zwickau ) was a German mining engineer and mining director.

Life

Christian Kühn studied mining at the Bergakademie Freiberg . In 1894 he became a member of the Corps Franconia Freiberg . After graduating, he worked in the Saxon mining industry. He became mining director and board member of Leipziger Braunkohlenwerke AG in Kulkwitz .

Kühn was deputy chairman of the Borna Mining Association . He was a member of the board of directors of the German Brown Coal Industry Association. V. and was a committee member of the employers' association for brown coal mining . V. He was also a board member of the Leipzig branch of the Association of Saxon Industrialists and the Saxon Miners' Union .
