Christian Kerbler
Christian Heinrich Kerbler (born April 18, 1940 in Hall in Tirol ) is a former agent of the Italian military secret service SIFAR of Austrian origin. On June 21, 1971, he was sentenced in absentia to 22 years imprisonment by an Italian court for the murder of Luis Amplatz and the attempted murder of Georg Klotz - both victims were members of the South Tyrol Liberation Committee . Kerbler did not take the - now statute-barred - sentence and is still on the run.
