Christian Mahler (born September 7, 1900 in Lindewitt ; † 1976 ) was a politician of the Danish minority in Schleswig-Holstein .

Life and work

Mahler, who was an Evangelical Lutheran , was a farmer by profession. Since 1926 he ran a farm in Hürup near Flensburg . He was married and had one child. In 1973 he was awarded the Guldnål (gold needle) of the Sydslesvigsk Forening for his services to the Danish minority .

politics

From 1947 to 1950 Mahler was a member of the first elected state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein for the SSW . After 1945 he was mayor in Hürup and head of the office in Hürup .
