Christian Simmert

Christian Simmert (born December 4, 1972 in Warstein ) is a former German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and PR consultant.

Life

Simmert worked as an intern and employee at an advertising agency in Cologne and from 1992 to 1994 as a freelance journalist.

In 1990 Simmert joined the Greens, where he was initially spokesman for the LAG youth policy in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1992 to 1994 and then from 1994 to 1998 a member of the state board. From 1998 to 2002 he was a member of the German Bundestag , a time he critically reflected in the book “The Lobby Governs the Land”.

From 2003 to 2008 Christian Simmert worked as a specialist journalist in the automotive industry.

From 2008 to 2013 Simmert was managing director and partner of a PR agency in Neuss. In 2013 he founded a new agency as a partner in Leipzig, where he is the managing director.
