Christian Steinmüller

Christian Steinmüller (born October 23, 1927 in Dresden ) is a former German party functionary of the GDR block party NDPD . He was a member of the State Council of the GDR .

Life

Steinmüller, the son of a tradesman, attended high school, did military service and was taken prisoner of war . From 1945 to 1947 he trained as an industrial clerk . In 1951 he joined the NDPD. Initially an independent entrepreneur, from 1959 he was a general partner of the HC Steinmüller company in Dresden , which manufactured pharmaceutical supplies. From 1952 to 1954 he was a member of the NDPD city district council in Dresden, from 1954 to 1955 a member of the city district council and honorary city council. In 1955/1956 he was a member of the Dresden City Council. From 1959 to 1961 he completed a special course for general partners at the Berlin School of Economics (HfÖ). In 1962 he passed the state examination with a degree in economics. From 1962 he was a member of the NDPD district committee in Dresden. From 1961 to 1962 he acted as chairman of the NDPD district association Dresden-Nord, from 1962 of the NDPD district committee Dresden. From 1963 to 1967 Steinmüller was a member of the People's Chamber and a member of the State Council of the GDR. From 1964 to 1977 he was a member of the NDPD main committee. In September 1966 he received his doctorate from the HFOE to Dr. oec. From 1971 to 1986 he was a member of the Dresden District Assembly.
