Christian Stoll (* 1959 ) is a German guitar maker .

In his company in the Taunus are guitars of four employees in manual work manufactured.

While Stoll initially focused on building electric guitars and basses, he has been concentrating on perfecting acoustic guitars since the early 1990s. His main focus here is on solid workmanship and sound optimization. The spectrum goes from the student guitar to the soloist instrument.

One of the most famous models from Stoll is the acoustic bass . The body is significantly larger than that of a guitar and thus differs significantly from other instruments of this genre. The bass can still be played while sitting or standing. The increased volume and a special construction of the top create a powerful, balanced sound that has given the instrument the name double bass to hang around in the relevant press .

Stoll's customers include Tony Sheridan , Rainer Schacht from Ganz Schön Feist , Michael Hofmann (head and founder of Chantal ) and Ralf Gauck .
