Chantal is a German music ensemble.
The instrumental ensemble was founded in 1969 by Michael Hofmann-von der Weiden. The line-up consisted of different guitars , mandolin , flute , harp , percussion , bassoon , oboe , violin and cello . The group has given concerts in Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria and Australia. The music is documented through appearances on ZDF , SWR and 25 CDs .
