Christian Ulrich II of Württemberg-Wilhelminenort (born January 27, 1691 in Vielguth bei Oels ; † February 11, 1734 in Stuttgart ) was Duke of Württemberg-Wilhelminenort.

Life

Christian Ulrich II was the youngest son of Duke Christian Ulrich I of Württemberg-Oels (1652–1704) from his second marriage to Princess Sibylle Marie (1667–1693), daughter of Duke Christian I of Saxony-Merseburg . The prince studied in Frankfurt (Oder) and in Berlin at the Knight Academy.

Christian Ulrich resided as a paraglider on the Wilhelminenort country estate, the former village of Bresewitz (near Bernstadt ), which was renamed in honor of his stepmother Sophie Wilhelmine von Ostfriesland (1659–1698). The Duke converted to Catholicism on January 26, 1723 on a trip to Rome and died in Stuttgart at the age of 43. His son was appointed as successor in the Duchy of Oels by his older brother .

Christian Ulrich married Philippine Charlotte (1691–1758) on July 13, 1711, daughter of Count Erdmann von Redern auf Krappitz, with whom he had the following children:
