Christian Usinger
Christian Usinger (born August 21, 1894 in Wilhelmshaven ; † March 8, 1949 in the Soviet Union ) was a German officer , most recently lieutenant general in World War II .
Life
Usinger served as an officer in the First World War . After the end of the war, he switched to the police force . In the Wehrmacht he led the 223rd Infantry Division as commander during World War II . In the last days of the war Usinger was entrusted with the leadership of the I. Army Corps in the Kurland Kessel .
