Christian Vitalis

Christian Vitalis (born December 20, 1976 in Düsseldorf ) is a German musicologist , author , music critic and horn player .

Life

Vitalis attended the Christian-Rohlfs-Gymnasium in Hagen . After graduating from high school, he studied musicology , comparative literature and philosophy at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn until 2005 . Since 2006 he has been with the Dohr publishing house and works as a reviewer for klassik.com , and until 2010 also for the Rheinische music magazine fermate . Numerous record reviews are available. Vitalis is also the publisher of numerous critically revised sheet music editions and arrangements. In 2006 he published his book Hans Pfitzner's choral fantasy "Das Dunkle Reich" . He lives in Grevenbroich in the Rhineland .
